Profile

Anna Naganuma

Registered Architect

Anna Naganuma is an architect and interior designer. Born in Osaka, she earned a master's degree in architectural design from Kyoto Institute of Technology. She began her career at an institutional design firm, working on welfare and educational facilities, and later joined UDS Inc., where she focused on hotel design and branding. In 2026, she founded HYAN. Her work spans the full scope of spatial design, from architecture and interiors to furniture design, as well as the curation of furniture, objects, and art. Outside of practice, she enjoys cooking and hosting friends around the table. She travels occasionally and is particularly drawn to the culture and lifestyle of Morocco. The comfort of spaces where people naturally gather is a perspective she consistently values in her design work.
